I had a fabulous time this afternoon with this great family!

Ben's sister and brother-in-law asked me to

take their family pictures...

I was delighted!!

How sad that the majority of MPs can not

handle the thought of a scientific study as to when

human life begins!!

 

Doesn't this seem life they are trying to hide something?

Ranen decided to do this all on her own:

blowing/tickling Owen's tummy!

We just bought Ranen her first real puzzle

(with no picture behind to go by)

and she rocks it!!!

Does it totally by herserlf!

It's a wooden jigsaw puzzle with a picture of a farmyard

I also bought a regular Ravensberger puzzle

which I thought would stay closed for a while...

but apparently she may be getting the challenge sooner

rather than later!!

 

Owen has upgraded from him mat and his seat

into the exersaucer...

and LOVES it!! 

Come Saturday - when I get the part that I need for

the jolly jumper - he'll be in there too!

pushes with his feet, lifts his body and moves!

Owen had his 4 month checkup yesterday!

(they say he's the biggest 4 month old they've ever seen!)

Ben's nephew got married last week!

A GREAT wedding and we were allowed to take some flowers home!

Today is the vote in parliament!!

 

They are voting on Motion 312:

The Motion asks Parliament to conduct a study on

Subsection 223(1) of the Criminal Code which states that

a child becomes a human being only at the moment of complete birth.

 

Let's pray the Motion is passed

which will hopefully ultimately lead to an end

in the killing of the unborn!!

Did you know??

 

That in Canada, there are over 100,000 abortions per year?

 

That in Canada, you can abort right up until the baby is completely born?

Yes, you are right... that means if even one foot is still in the birth canal,

the baby can be 'aborted'!

That means on May 25th, Owen could still have been legally aborted!

How insane!!

 

That in Canada, unborn children are not considered human?

Unborn children have no rights.

Canada's 400 year old law says human life begins only at birth.

 

Canada is one of very few countries to have no laws

at all granting rights to unborn children.

 

 

There is a group organized online called Pass312.org.

They are trying to motivate the average Canadian to MAKE A DIFFERENCE

by emailing and calling your MP and your Prime Minister.

"The group's hope is that even though many MPs personally opposed

Motion 312, they will in the end respond to the requests of their constituents."

Please look it up online and do your part!

 

Parliament will vote on Motion 312

on September 26.

Between now and then we need to do our upmost

to try and convince the MPs to recognize our

unborn as human beings!

 

Our leader, conservative right??!!, has made it clear that he

plans to vote against Motion 312 unless he

hears from more Canadians who are in support of it!

If not, I highly suggest you do! 

A super educational book that teaches you

how to get the most out of doing the least!!

And a great read to boot!

Well, for me, ranked very high is this thing called quality time!

It is very important to me and I thrive

spending time with the people I love...

I feel loved when people decide to spend their time with me

I feel loved when effort is made to be together :)

Don't so much bother with gifts for me... just give me an hour,

an afternoon, a day, whatever!!

 

That is why I really enjoyed, my heart overflowed,

last Thursday!!!

I'm still in a high!!

We had fabulous weather to add to the beauty of our laid-back day!

 We arrived at around noon, the tide was just starting to go out

so we started out with a good hour walk!

 

Admiring the boats and the starfish!

 

Then we headed out to a patch of sand and just hung out for the rest of the day!

BEAUTY  :)

Owen was so good....  enjoyed laying on the

blanket and playing with his toys!

 

We forgot the box with Ranen's beach toys

(I can just hear my family - "Well, aint that so a Marlies thing to do!! lol)

but really, we didn't need them!!

Ranen was so entertained

and we found one shovel in the car! 

 This is one of my favorite pictures!! Daddy and his girl:)

 

 So she lays down in the water... "Ranen swimming, Ranen swimming"

 

 Just so you know, that's my love sparkling all around them!!  Really!

 

We enjoyed some icecream and a day is never quite complete without

fish and chips so we paid a visit to Moby Dick's!

 

Ranen did remarkably well all day without a nap

and she fell asleep quickly on the way home!

But I love this shot of her yawning:)

 

A day I won't soon forget!!

 

Now, back to that 5 love language book by Gary Chapman

I own about 3 copies if you want to borrow one!

Ben's reaction to the book was - "Everyone should read it yearly!"

 

Really, its great! Not a book that you have to force

yourself to read and you will learn a lot

about yourself, your spouse, your kids!!
