...actually more like twice or three or four

or however many times we are willing to sit down

and play with her...

 

Ranen loves memory!!

(and often blows our socks off by remembering

where cards are that we have forgotten...)

it is great!

 

The odd time a little cheating goes on... if the second card she flips over

is one she knows then she will find the match!!

Yes, Ranen... we love it too!!

 

Owen has fun putting the completed sets back into the bag...

55 years!!

Today,

Opa and Oma Lindhout

hope to celebrate their 

55th wedding anniversary!

 

They are so very loved and treasured by us...

Many afternoons they came to lend a helping hand

because they knew how busy I was

with the printing business and

as Oma would say - at least I know I am useful here!

So many treasured memories...

they have taught us much,

how to love...

how to give, how to help...

how to be sweet...

Love them so much!!

 

The kids also get excited... Owen just went crazy seeing

this recent picture I took of them on my computer as I was editing...

 

And Ranen knows she needs to be babysat tomorrow and she is wondering

why oh why it can't be Opa and Oma Duke babysitting her :)

 

Love them and wish them a fabulous day tomorrow!!

Was working on a little personal editing this morning

This past Friday... Cayden came for a sleep over and

new chicks were put in the barn - so much excitement :)

 

It took some coaxing... but Cayden touched it :)

Puts a child in complete awe to see this many chicks....

Never taken for granted...

... Oh I treasure these moments!!!

Buddy needed a little song and extra encouragement to fall asleep tonight! May not always be convenient but I so enjoy and treasure these moments!!

So blessed to be a mother!

So blessed to be able to hug, cuddle and kiss...

And this is how the self-feeding is going!!

Oh, the grin makes it all worthwhile!!

Laying in bed... Not able to fall asleep!!

Counting my blessings...

Extremely thankful to be able to hug and kiss Ranen and Owen goodnight, to tuck them in bed, to watch them breathe, to see them smile, to hear them laugh... Such a blessing! 

Blessed to know there is another little growing in my womb... Another month and hopefully we will have a view into this little's world... To make it seem more real... Hopefully come April we will be blessed to welcome him/her...

Truly thankful to be blessed with such a strong, dedicated hubby - you provide for us so very well...working yourself to the point of exhaustion because you get it, you understand farming, you love it... When it's dry, field work must be done!! Sleep can wait... I smile when I think how you are out driving tractor, longing (hopefully:) to be cuddling with me... I lay in bed, wishing you were here... Not able to sleep!! Maybe you should teach me how to drive that crazy unit! Looking forward to a couple weeks of sunshine to get this stage behind us for another year...

So grateful to you, love, for all you do for us!! My heart swells with pride, even if I must spend most of thanksgiving alone, glad you took the time to come out for dinner hour ... You're smart not to push my buttons to far!! Love you!! 

Thankful for my parents, in-laws, siblings, extended family... You all play a part in our lives and we are grateful for it... 

Thankful for health and love, friendship and companionship, freedom to enter church, read God's Word, and for the truth.

Pouring Concrete :)

(Just noticed Wednesdays post didn't publish properly... Here it is!!)

We LOVE having Opa, Uncle Steve and Uncle Gord working around here :) As soon as the kids see a concrete truck pull in they are running for their boots!!

Making sure Owen doesn't end up in the wet concrete!

We are privileged to celebrate a wonderful woman today... 

My Mom.... 

You do so much for us... Teach us great things... Love and dote on the grand kids like its your job :).... Pack lunches... Babysit grands... Keep your house in order like one of the best... Treat many... Run errands for hubby and kids...  A wonderful wife and fabulous mother :)

You are so relieved and happy to have the surgery behind you and things seem to be going so well... You already feel a difference compared to how the healing went last time.... So happy!!

(My laptop got a bad virus on it that locked it down as of last night so I have no pictures to share... Unless I can find one on my phone:) 

The post surgery picture is all that's on there of you because I just deleted all my old pictures but I have some cute ones from us blowing leaves for you yesterday... We enjoyed our day with you immensely!!
