When the planets align...

... and both kids nap at the same time

then SO much gets done!!

Yes, I honestly do love them too

but today it was so good!

 

Done my

taxes (HST due)

&

majority of my printing/design work

 

didn't think it would ever happen!

 

Now going to squeeze in some of the left over designing

for my family's calendar

(will share when it is complete and Dad and Mom have seen it!!)

and then plans of making fish for supper!

 

YAY - actually feeling like I have things slightly 'together'

at this moment...

will relish in it for a moment!!

 

I believe this may be my all time favourite picture of my little man!

 

 Oh, he is SO lovable, huggable, kissable!!

Such a happy little buddy!

 Who adores his big sister like anything!! 

And she loves him right back - like crazy!

Hubby-Wife Retreat

Oh, it was a grand time!!

 

Off to Victoria for 2 nights / 3 days :)

 

So worth it...

 

We had a great hotel

(bought off of Groupon at 45% off!!)

Parkside Victoria - the luxury 1 bedroom suite -

highly recommended :)

 

Gorgeous views,

old downtown Victoria,

lots of walking,

unique coffeeshops,

great quality time,

Mysteries of Egypt Imax,

comic book store,

discussions,

a little more talking,

sleep, (oh the sleep!!),

swimming, exercising,

and more!!

Once we arrived in Victoria we started by walking the path along shore...

 

The first night we had dinner at Milestones and this was taken from our table:

 I`m not a big shopper!... but I did find this neat! Stores right in the old buildings...

 

The last morning there we went for one more stroll, armed with camera...

 

this have a little milder climate then us, but flowers??... really!!!

 

 Right across the road from our hotel:

(never knew that I liked/appreciated old buildings...they sure are neat!)

 

 A time for everything...

ferry ride home!

 

We made a pit stop in Langley at The Running Room

to be suited up with a pair of runners each!!  About time!

Now we will be enjoying walking/jogging at home :)

 

And back with our two kidlets!!!

Lindhout Christmas Family Dinner

A little late but there are a few good ones so thought I would share!

 

A word search of family members names was a huge hit!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, I love my Oma... she does so much for me!!  And is such

a joy to have around! Always willing to lend a hand!

Such a blessing to have grandparents...
